The LCL Ocean Import Operator is responsible for managing the import process of shipments that are consolidated in ocean containers with other cargo. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of imported goods. The operator ensures compliance with import regulations and handles documentation and shipment tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full LCL ocean import cycle from origin to final delivery.
* Coordinate with all key partners: carriers, agents, customs brokers, and clients.
* Prepare and review all necessary import documentation for compliance.
* Monitor schedules, arrange customs clearance and inland transport.
* Resolve shipment issues and handle billing/record-keeping.
Skills/Experience:
* Minimum of 4 years forwarding experience
* End-to-End LCL Import Management Experience
* Proficiency in Import Documentation & Customs Clearance
* Strong Stakeholder Coordination and Communication
