Job Title: React/SignalR Front-End Developer

About Us:
Working in our Buckinghamshire HQ (with flexible/hybrid working options), you’ll be part of a small, agile, and experienced development team helping evolve our flagship hospitality product suite.
Our product suite includes desktop and web applications, and processes millions of bookings and transactions annually, with integrations to third-party systems such as Payment Providers, PMS, and Stock Control. Clients range from small, independent venues to large international groups, deployed across hosted and on-premise platforms.
This role focuses on enhancing our front-end real-time web applications using React and SignalR, with the opportunity to get involved in full-stack work if you have or want to grow your C#/.NET skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop responsive, real-time front-end web applications using React and SignalR
* Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code
* Collaborate within a small, agile development team following Scrum practices
* Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and SignalR hubs
* Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Assist in investigating and resolving user-reported issues
Qualifications:
* 2+ years' experience in front-end or full-stack development
* Strong understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript and React
* Experience integrating real-time functionality using SignalR
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (desirable)
Skills Required:
* Languages: JavaScript / TypeScript
* Libraries & Frameworks: React, SignalR
* API Interaction: REST APIs
* Development Practices: Agile/Scrum
* Tools: Git, Visual Studio (or any other IDE of your choice), Postman, Jira
* UX/UI: Responsive design principles, component-based development
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with C# / .NET / MVC
* Exposure to full-stack development or willingness to learn back-end
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices
