What Else Would Be Great 5–8 years in B2B tech / SaaS marketing, ideally healthtech or other regulated / public sector environments Experience in a scaling environment (Series A/B style) — you want to build from first principles, not inherit a machine A blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution — comfortable moving from messaging frameworks to posting content and building decks in the same day Confident collaborating with clinical stakeholders, engineers, and commercial teams Data literate enough to set meaningful goals, interpret performance, and adjust approach accordingly Comfortable tracking competitive landscape and feeding insights into positioning What Does Wild Success Look Like? You've built the marketing ops foundation — and you're now hiring your first direct report as you step into Head of Marketing. Where Does This Role Take You? This is explicitly designed to grow into Head of Marketing as TORTUS scales. You'll own the function end-to-end, build a team beneath you, and shape how a category-defining company tells its story.
