As we continue to grow, we're looking for skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineers who take pride in their craft and want to be part of a business where their contribution truly matters. You'll cover Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire areas.
What You'll Do
* Carry out planned service and maintenance on a wide range of refrigeration and air‑conditioning systems.
* Diagnose faults, identify solutions, and deliver timely, effective repairs.
* Install, test, and commission new systems to the highest industry standards.
* Complete refrigerant recovery, evacuation and recharging work safely and accurately.
* Provide exceptional customer service and represent Pitkin & Ruddock with professionalism.
* Maintain detailed service records and ensure full compliance with company procedures.
* Keep up to date with the latest technologies, equipment, and best practices.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to deliver projects efficiently and safely.
* Consistently adhere to our robust Health & Safety standards.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
* Strong working knowledge of commercial refrigeration and AC systems (including walk‑ins, bottle coolers and ice machines).
* Confident mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
* Sound understanding of refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Great communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
* A valid UK driver's licence.
* Relevant qualifications such as F‑Gas, NVQ, or City & Guilds.
