Job Description
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer include:
1. Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies that support strategic goals.
2. Update and refine existing processes to support new product launches and ensure manufacturability.
3. Conduct cost comparisons and ROI analyses to guide supplier and equipment decisions.
4. Serve as a subject‑matter expert for cross‑departmental initiatives.
5. Create standardized documentation including SOPs, work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs, and process flows.
6. Partner with quality teams to build robust control plans and ensure consistent product standards.
7. Train production personnel on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and best practices.
8. Generate performance reports and support operational KPI achievement.
9. Lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
10. Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering on major equipment or process changes.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
11. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
12. 5-10 years of experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
13. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, engineering principles, and process‑improvement methods.
14. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret GD&T.
15. Proficiency with SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and standard engineering tools.
16. Experience leading Kaizen events and implementing continuous‑improvement initiatives.
17. Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments.
18. Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to lead teams without formal authority.
