Overview

Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner (Evenings/Weekends)

Clinical Psychologist | Counselling Psychologist | Educational Psychologist

Remote / Harrogate / Huddersfield / Newcastle (Hybrid)

Part-time or Full-time (Minimum 3 days/week)

Recognised for its clinical excellence, this organisation provides expert assessments and interventions across the UK, including comprehensive neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for children and adults and expert witness reports for legal and forensic settings (including family, criminal, and immigration law). Responsibilities

* Conduct structured face-to-face observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
* Lead developmental history interviews with parents/carers via Zoom
* Collaborate in multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians
* Deliver feedback to families in a compassionate and accessible manner
* Write high-quality clinical reports, supported by AI-assisted tools
* Meet service KPIs
* Provide clinical supervision where appropriate
* Attend clinic bases for in-person assessments as required
* Be flexible with evening (4–9pm) and weekend (Saturday) work and discuss hours to suit availability


What We’re Looking For

* Registration with one of the following: HCPC (Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologist; SLT; OT) or GMC (Medical Practitioner)
* At least 1 year of post-registration experience assessing children and young people for autism and/or ADHD
* Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and differential diagnoses
* Experience using tools like ADOS-2 and ADI-R
* Excellent report-writing and time management skills
* A collaborative, child- and family-focused approach
* Eligibility to work in the UK
