Interaction Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Science. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to join a committed, friendly and professional department within a thriving and ambitious school.
The Role:
• Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and GCSE (AQA specification). • Set high expectations for all pupils, deepening knowledge and maximising achievement. • Assess pupils' work systematically and use data to inform planning, target setting and curriculum development. • Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental development.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience delivering Science across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE (AQA). • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Commitment to inclusive teaching and learning. • Ability to use data effectively to inform planning and raise attainment. • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
