Overview
Due to expansion, we are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with experience in Gate manufacturing primarily.
we are an extremely popular Gate manufacturing company in the northwest and pride ourselves in the quality of our work.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble Gates, Railings and other steel projects according to engineering specifications and drawings.
* Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to shape, cut, and finish metal products.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any fabrication issues.
Skills
* Proficient in fabricating metal components with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.
* Experience in MIG welding, along with other welding methods such as MIG or TIG is advantageous.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
* Competent in using hand tools and power tools related to fabrication work.
* Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during the fabrication process.
* Familiarity with sheet metal work is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
