About the Role:
As a Operational Communications Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our communication systems are always operational, secure, and ready for action. You will:
* Plan, implement and deliver key projects aligned with the Operational Communications Strategy.
* Provide technical expertise on voice communication systems, including the current Airwave TETRA system.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to communication devices in vehicles and fixed locations.
* Engage with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions tailored to their needs.
* Contribute to a culture of service excellence and best practises.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in installing, integrating and maintaining communication systems.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
