Procurement Administrator
Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll assist Production and Sales with lead times and stock supply, manage purchase ordering and supplier liaison, and provide day-to-day administrative support to keep procurement and production running smoothly.
Main Duties
* Raise and process purchase orders effectively
* Maintain supplier records, pricing, and cost control
* Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and flag shortages
* Liaise with suppliers for quotes, deliveries, and lead times
* Schedule manufacturing processes with third-party contractors
* Support sourcing of electronic/mechanical components, raw materials, and manufacturing services
* Update internal teams (Production/Sales) on order progress, delays, or lead-time changes
* Assist the Operations Manager with general administration
Skills & Experience
• Good Microsoft (Office) skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Strong organisational ability, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy workplace
