A well-regarded and supportive secondary school in Reading is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science ECT to join its successful Science department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science ECT to begin their teaching career within a school that offers strong mentoring, a structured ECT programme, and excellent professional development.

The successful Science ECT will teach General Science across KS3 and KS4, working alongside an experienced and collaborative department committed to developing Early Career Teachers.

The Role

The school is looking for an enthusiastic Science ECT who can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for science. The successful Science ECT will benefit from a structured induction programme and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities of the Science ECT include:

* Teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4

* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

* Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback

* Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential

* Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department
