As a Project Engineering Lead within the Electronic Warfare line of business (part of Combat Air) your main responsibilities will be focused on management and delivery of Systems/Software formalisation activities, providing engineering management, direction and leadership to:
* Facilitate compliant cost, schedule and technical solutions by working effectively with all internal stakeholders
* Manage & coordinate the project team(s), including Work Package management
* Oversee required outputs & deliverables, including formal design reviews
* Promote an Integrated Project Team approach throughout the project lifecycle
The PEL will work closely with the Integrated Project Team to agree the optimal technical solution and manage the Engineering deliverables, and ensure that the Engineering aspects of the project are delivered in accordance with Company Life Cycle Management process, company and legislative standards.
What you'll bring

* Degree qualified or equivalent.
* Good problem solving ability.
* Good schedule and budget control.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Commercially aware.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, across multiple sites.
* Strong leadership competency but also can demonstrate team working skills.
* Knowledge of the Engineering lifecycle and business process preferable.
