This role involves assembling test equipment and conducting testing on in-house mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic components, sub-assemblies and PCBs in accordance with predefined procedures and will also conduct hyperbaric testing of external client’s equipment. Must have your own transport due to location of the site. Key Responsibilities: • Assembly of hydraulic / mechanical test equipment. • Mechanical assembly of submersible products consisting of structural components, pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, manipulators, specialist external equipment etc. • To perform pressure & electrical/optical function testing of cables, connectors and PCBs. • Perform a variety of tests including external/internal hydrostatic, static/dynamic weight, buoyancy and electrical function testing of PCBs during hydrostatic pressure test. • Accurately and efficiently complete all documentation associated with client/in house testing. • Complete all required QHSE documentation including Risk Assessments, NCR…etc. • Carry out maintenance to test equipment as assigned. • Initial set-up and testing of pumps and valves, testing and functional testing of complete hydraulic systems. • Ensure completion of testing as scheduled and budgeted; and maintain high standards of quality. Key Skills/Qualifications: • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and sketches. • Must be competent in the use of standard workshop tools and hydraulic test equipment, as well as being able to learn how to use more specialist equipment. * Must have your own transport due to location of the site
