Job Description
3. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
4. Prepare financial reports, including budgets and forecasts, for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely manner.
6. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
7. Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
8. Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
9. Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to management.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Officer should have:
11. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
12. Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
13. Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate financial reports.
14. Knowledge of financial regulations relevant to the not-for-profit sector.
