Looking to gain classroom experience, explore a future in teaching, or get back into education?
We're working closely with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Telford and Shrewsbury who are on the lookout for confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors. You'll be helping keep learning on track when teachers are away, ensuring pupils stay engaged and the school day runs smoothly.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build hands-on experience in the classroom without the added pressure of lesson planning or marking.
What You'll Be Doing

You'll be:
* Leading lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using ready-made lesson plans
* Encouraging positive behaviour and following the school's behaviour policies
* Supporting pupils with their learning, including those with additional needs
* Keeping lessons running smoothly and ensuring students stay on task
* Building confidence and relationships across a variety of subjects and year groups
What We're Looking For
You'll need:
* The right to work in the UK (passport or valid BRP/share code)
* An Overseas Police Check if you've lived abroad
* Experience working with young people, whether that's in schools, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, mentoring, or similar settings
* Strong communication skills and confidence leading a room
* A calm, professional approach and the ability to think on your feet
Nice to Have, But Not Essential
* Qualifications or training in education, childcare, youth work, or a related field
