St Audrys Golf Club
St Audrys Golf Club is a 9-hole course situated in a picturesque parkland setting close to Woodbridge in Suffolk. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time green keeper. Full training can be provided, making this a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and with a genuine interest in contributing to the quality and presentation of the course.
The Role
· Position: Part- Time Green Keeper at St Audrys Golf Club.
· Hours: Flexible and with some weekend work. Circa 20hrs per week – occasional overtime.
· Remuneration: £14 - £16 per hour dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities
· Assisting the full-time green keeper with the daily maintenance of the golf course
· General groundskeeping tasks include mowing, watering, greens and bunker maintenance.
· Where appropriate, able to operate hand and power tools and relevant mechanical equipment.
Requirements/ Person Specification
Essential:
· Enjoys working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Physical fitness commensurate with the nature of the role.
· Reliable, punctual and with the ability to work alone.
· Attention to detail, taking pride in their work.
· Good communication skills, able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues.
· Flexibility. Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and early mornings as required.
Desirable:
· Previous experience in green keeping, groundskeeping, landscaping or similar role.
· Equipment knowledge: Familiarity with the safe use and basic maintenance of greens keeping tools and machinery (training available)
· Basic plant knowledge: An understanding of turf, plants and landscaping techniques.
· Health and Safety awareness: Commitment to safe working practices and procedures.
