Job Title: Mechanical Engineer/ Plumber (Temp to Perm)

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/ Plumber to join a prestigious, Grade 1 listed building in the Soho area. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an iconic setting while supporting the maintenance and operation of essential building services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform both planned and reactive maintenance across various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical.
* Ensure all systems are functioning optimally, maintaining the comfort and safety of building occupants.
* Provide proactive maintenance to prevent system breakdowns and service disruptions.
* Respond swiftly and efficiently to emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Comply with health and safety regulations and building guidelines, particularly within a heritage environment.
* Work collaboratively with the facilities management team to deliver high-quality service.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer, with competence in electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance.
* Heritage experience is highly desirable, as the building is Grade 1 listed.
* Familiarity with maintaining buildings of historical significance.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
* A valid mechanical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
* Previous experience in a commercial or office building environment is an advantage.
