About us
Trinity Medical Centre originated as Almshouse Surgery and Grove Surgery. Both practices have grown from a few hundred patients to becoming one of the largest practices in Wakefield.
We are a group practice, meaning all clinicians work across both sites with access to the same patient records, allowing patients to choose between sites and see familiar faces for consultations.
The practice recently became an Accredited Training Practice with Leeds University, enabling us to host GP Registrars, FY2 Trainee GPs, and medical students, supported by our accredited GP Trainers.
We currently have over 80 staff members, our largest staffing level to date.
Job responsibilities
HCAs play a significant role in the long-term management of patients with chronic diseases. They proactively provide preventive measures through holistic interactions, reviewing records, and conducting physical checks to ensure optimal patient care. They liaise with GPs, nursing, and admin teams to complete comprehensive checks, accurately code information, and escalate issues for further management.
