Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a CILEX Legal Executive specialising in Settlement Agreements and Independent Legal Advice. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on legal matters, preparing comprehensive legal documents, and providing detailed advice on settlement agreements and related matters. Day-to-day tasks may include handling legal processes related to property law, including conveyancing, and ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications
* Expertise in providing legal advice on settlement agreements and strong knowledge of general legal principles
* Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, proofreading, and completing legal papers
* Knowledge and experience in Property Law and Conveyancing
* CILEX qualification or equivalent
* Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
* An understanding of client care and commitment to maintaining high professional standards
* Previous experience in a similar legal role is highly advantageous
Requirements
* Qualified Legal Executive (CILEX) or Solicitor in England & Wales
* Minimum 3 months post-qualification experience.
* Background in employment law, conveyancing, or banking preferred.
* Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously with supervision, demonstrating sound judgment and responsibility.
* Highly organised, reliable, and professional.
* A proactive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership over your work.
