Paediatric Recovery Nurse - Band 6
A passionate approach to patient centred care is essential to managing our patients within this acute recovery area. Post-holders will be working in a unit that cares for both paediatric and adult patients.
The recovery area is part of a complex dynamic perioperative suite managing a number of different specialities from day case surgery, paediatric surgery, to complex airway management and major reconstructive surgery.
Responsibilities
* Offer a high standard of 1:1 care to post‑operative patients during the Recovery phase (adult and paediatric).
* Provide care across a range of surgical procedures and complex airway management.
* Bring extensive knowledge and skills in paediatric care.
* Support our acute patient needs with advanced airway management and participate in an advanced airway programme run by consultant Anaesthetists.
