Job Description
The role of Associate Test Analyst is important to us. Working in our Fuel Solutions business, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for anyone early in their IT career. Although you may have learnt plenty during your degree or IT qualification studies, we provide a work environment, mentorship and training to help you build a rewarding career in software testing and development. In our test team you will support software development activities within Fuel Solutions. Much of your work will be in support of Velocity, our main customer‑facing software platform. Please note that we cannot provide visa sponsorship.
What 'll Be Doing
* Supporting the delivery of IT projects by completing designated test activities and tasks.
* Analyzing complex information and writing concise, high quality test cases.
* Providing accurate estimates to complete test activities.
* Maintaining and executing manual test scripts and regression packs.
* Recording and tracking all bugs in JIRA, and managing them through to resolution.
* Providing regular status updates and reports on testing progress and outcomes.
What We 're Looking For
* A computer science (or similar) degree, or equivalent IT qualifications.
* Good listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Good team‑working skills while being able to work independently under supervision.
* Good computer literacy skills with demonstrable IT related education.
* Good analytical and organisational skills.
* A demonstrable interest in software development.
* Awareness of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies is desirable.
* Awareness of the Testing discipline and ISTQB Foundation Certification is desirable.
