Birmingham. You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis. \n\nThe office is located within commutable distance Birmingham New Street and you will join a supportive and friendly team who work well together in an open plan office.
\n\nAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will join an experienced team to complete HVAC designs for commercial, residential and industrial developments across the UK. \n\nAs Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be expected to complete detailed mechanical designs including heating, ventilation, plumbing and air-conditioning using AutoCAD and Revit. \n\nYou will also be expected to complete 2D and 3D models, perform heat load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software (e.g.
Revit, AutoCAD, HAP, or Elite).\n\nYou will also prepare and review mechanical drawings, schematics, simulations and technical specifications in accordance with building codes, sustainability goals, and project requirements.\n\nThe role will also involve;\n\n-Designing to BIM level 2 in accordance with British Standards PAS 1192-5.\n\n-Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and structural engineers to ensure coordinated MEP layouts and avoid design clashes.\n\n- Attend internal external meetings with Clients and Contractors on site to resolve design issues/queries and align pr...
