Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager with strong UK tax advisory skills to join our fast growing team. We are focussed on providing commercial advice to CEOs and CFOs and that provides an opportunity for stand out advisers to make a real difference for clients. Experience in international corporate taxes (including Pillar 2) is also desirable. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of building relationships with businesses, providing high quality tailored commercial corporate tax advice, and identifying opportunities. Experience in reviewing UK corporation tax returns and leveraging technology and AI to optimise the compliance process is also beneficial. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with market energy and drive to focus on their strengths in a lean and agile organisation.
Responsibilities
* Lead and grow long term relationships with clients across a range of industry sectors and work with partners to focus on clients and market areas.
* Work with team members to deliver high quality corporate tax advice to businesses.
* Provide quality assurance over tax return preparation including advising on complex areas.
* Assistance in building, designing and implementing the UK corporation tax practice and pushing for continuous improvement and productisation via technology and AI.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimise tax processes using technology and AI.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in UK tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's compliance practices are aligned with these changes and continuously seek opportunities from these developments.
* Build relationships with internal stakeholders across all advisory areas in order to identify and grow market opportunities.
* Innovatively use technology to engage with clients and deliver advice and working with technology experts to design and deliver client projects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other. A professional certification (e.g. ACA, CTA, ATT) is preferred.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance, with a focus on UK corporation tax.
* Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
* Experience with technology and AI in tax compliance processes.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
