Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Open to Full-Time/Part-Time)
As a Workforce Forecasting Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring Silverstone’s diverse workforce (350+ permanent staff, 700+ zero-hour, contractors, and seasonal teams) operates efficiently and cost-effectively. Leveraging comprehensive data from the Ubeya workforce management system, you will provide senior leadership with data-driven recommendations that enhance labour planning, financial control, and resource allocation across our highly dynamic, event-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cost Management & Financial Analysis
* Identify, quantify, and report on significant cost-saving opportunities across all employment types and staffing models.
* Monitor labour cost performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances and improvement areas.
* Support budget planning with accurate labour cost projections and scenario modelling.
2. Workforce Planning & Forecasting
Develop and maintain dynamic workforce forecasting models based on operational demands and seasonal event patterns.
Collaborate with operational teams to translate business needs into optimal staffing and shift pattern recommendations.
Analyse seasonal workforce trends to ensure resource alignment for peak and off-peak periods.
3. Data Analysis & System Utilisation
* Conduct deep analysis of labour data (utilisation, productivity, resource allocation) from the Ubeya workforce management system.
* Develop and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and strategic business cases to the Director of People & Culture and senior stakeholders.
* Propose improvements to workforce management processes and maximise Ubeya system effectiveness and data accuracy.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Proven experience in workforce analysis, labour planning, or financial analysis in an operational setting.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and advanced Excel skills.
* Experience with workforce management systems (Ubeya experience highly desirable).
* Demonstrated ability to influence and present data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
* Experience with seasonal and event-driven workforce requirements is essential.
