EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN ACCOMPLISHED SECURITY INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH AT LEAST FIVE YEARS' EXPERIENCE. THIS IS A SITE-BASED ROLE, MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8:00 AM TO 4:00 PM, WITH FURTHER TRAINING AND CAREER PROGRESSION.
TITLE: Security Installation and Maintenance Engineer - CCTV, Access Control, Intruder
SALARY: £35-40k DOE, Company vehicle, fuel card, laptop, standard holiday and pension scheme, on-site parking.
HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8:00 AM TO 4:00 PM. Enhanced overtime available, including time and a half, with double time on Sundays and after midnight.

ROLE: As a Security Installation and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of access control systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and other integrated security solutions. You will design and develop customized security system solutions to meet client requirements, build and implement systems including CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), interpret detailed schematics and technical documentation, conduct comprehensive testing, and provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for installed systems.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years' industry experience installing and commissioning access control systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and other integrated security solutions.
You should possess strong technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems, along with a solid understanding of electrical systems and principles. Skills in designing complex security systems from concept through implementation, reading and interpreting technical schematics and wiring diagrams, and supporting Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are essential. A solid foundation in computer hardware and mechanical knowledge for installing and maintaining physical security devices is also required.
You must hold relevant certifications such as ECS/CSCS cards and have a full UK driving licence. Previous experience with Genetec, Redscan, CEM, Stentofon, and Axis is desirable. You will work closely with project managers and the wider team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
