An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Social Worker role in the Fostering Service, based in Shrewsbury. This is a busy, developing service with opportunities to primarily carry out foster carer assessments, time‑scales and initial home visits, viabilities and support our newly approved and experienced foster carers in their fostering journey.
We are looking for a qualified social worker who has enthusiasm, positivity, the ability to work to tight timescales and a commitment to contributing to the development of the service and our foster carers. The suitable candidate will work towards assessing and supporting our carers to ensure a positive, safe and nurturing experience for children and young people.
