Our client is actively seeking to recruit a Trainee Logistics Administrator for their busy Head Office in Basildon.
As the Trainee Logistics Administrator in the Logistics team, you will be responsible for all procedures connected with proof of deliveries, including liaising with customers by telephone and email. Ensuring that all company files are stored correctly in line with company processes.
Your duties will include:
1. Sort, scan, and attach shipment details to FMS (Freight Management System).
2. Source Proof of Deliveries (PODs) from supplier websites.
3. Request PODs on request.
4. Meet the individual needs of clients regarding their POD demands.
5. Picking and Packing.
6. Quality Checking (Q.C).
7. Stock counting.
8. Entering customer orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
9. Processing customer returns.
10. Arranging freight couriers for customer collections and deliveries.
11. Filing.
If you have recent experience working in an office environment in an administrative role, with good attention to detail and a good understanding of Excel, Word, and Outlook, then this could be the ideal role for you.
