We are looking for a POS Systems Service Manager to join our IT team here at Harrods. The key purpose of this role is to lead and inspire our Retail Systems Service (RSS) team.
This role is 5 days in the office.
About The Role
The POS Systems Service Manager will own the service that provides retail systems across our entire retail estate and underpins our key retail functions. The role will be Build and configure retail systems as well as Installing, fixing and replacing retail systems.
You will also;
* Collaborate with cross team focus groups to deliver solutions in line with business requirements
* Develop and coach the RSS team, leading on industry best practice and introducing new ways of working to drive efficiencies and increase effectiveness
* Maintain systems availability, ensuring that all retail systems consistently operational during business hours
* Act as point of escalation for any priority Service Impacting issues
* Foster strong relationships with vendors and internal IT teams to troubleshoot complex issues
About You
As the POS Systems Service Manager you will have previous experience of management of point od sale system. You will also have previous experience in service management including incidents, requests, change and problem management.
We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated self-starter with the capability to prioritise demand and workload, positively manage and respond to any escalations. It is important to have clear communication both written and verbal as you will be effectively communication and presenting to all levels across IT, the business and 3rd parties, as well as manage and motivate a team of internal specialist engineers
