Summary Of What You Will Do
Support the Project Team in implementing and monitoring quality processes for mechanical systems
Verify and accept protocols in line with predefined criteria throughout the project lifecycle
Manage non-conformances and ensure traceability of records for each work stage
Conduct site inspections during installation and attend factory acceptance tests
Compile and manage the Project Punch List, coordinating with ENGIE and contractor leads
Provide discipline-specific quality support for mechanical investigations and technical solutions
Interpret technical information, such as engineering drawings, and verify alignment with installed equipment
What You Will Bring To The Role
Hold a Higher National Certificate or equivalent in an engineering discipline
Possess IOSH Managing Safely certification and the ability to drive various vehicles
Have experience in hydro power station operations or similar industrial environments
Demonstrate strong skills in report writing and interpreting technical information
Show proficiency in conducting technical inspections and audits
Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Display excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
Exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to technical excellence
Full driving licence
