Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience Role Overview: As an Energy Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in supporting my client's efforts to tackle the net-zero carbon challenge. From assisting in developing carbon reduction plans to providing technical input on energy retrofit programmes, you'll be instrumental in shaping a more sustainable future. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing carbon reduction plans and retrofit strategies for housing across all tenure categories. Support in developing zero-carbon strategies for new-build residential and non-residential developments. Assist with detailed energy modelling using industry-standard methodologies. Calculate the carbon footprint of estates of companies with large property portfolios and help create zero-carbon action plans. Support in calculating baseline carbon emissions for local authorities and developing zero-carbon action plans. Flexible to support a variety of work requirements, including occasional UK-based travel. Seniority: You will predominantly work within the Sustainable Area team, supporting the Energy and Carbon Consultants. Skills and Attributes: Highly numerate, analytical, and organised. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with modelling carbon emissions from existing buildings stock. Provide technical input on energy retrofit programmes. Organise project meetings and workshops. Research information to respond to tenders. Attend internal seminars and external training for continuous learning. Skills and Experience Required: Understanding of energy modelling methodologies. Familiarity with building energy efficiency regulations in the UK. Knowledge of retrofit solutions and strategies for buildings. Environmentally and sustainability-conscious individual.
