Job Description
Experienced specifically in the Design, and development & manufacture of Ceramic core dies, Wax pattern dies Mould tools and associated tooling fixtures for the investment Casting Industries Aerospace and IGT sectors
Role
* Experienced in Producing 3D CADad models using Solidworks (other formats considered), detailed engineering manufacturing drawings and technical presentations.
* Generating bills of material & technical procurement
* Creating and managing change requests where required
* Active involvement with Continuous Improvement initiatives
* Active participation in internal and external face to face liaison and electronic meetings
* Active participation in the development of tooling quotations packages.
Experience:
* Ideally, at least 5 years experience a proven industry experience in the subject role or a similar design role ideally 3-5 years experience on a range of Ceramic Core dies Wax pattern dies and associated tooling.in mould tool design
* Educated to HNC/Degree level in a suitable technical subject or a Time served apprentice preferably in the toolmaking industry
* Proven track record of delivering effective engineering solutions within cost ,time and quality requirements.
Requisites
* Highly motivated, Pro-active, Self-starter
* 3D CAD experience such as solid works is essentialin Solidworks
* Able to work as an individual or part of a team to tight deadline targets
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent problem- solving skillsattention to detail and accuracy
* Good IT literacy with MS office skills
