Parmenion Capital Partners LLP Job Description Position: Senior Product Development Manager Reporting to: Director of Product Development & Change Control Function: No Role overview: Our Senior Product Development Manager will be highly skilled and results-driven and will lead on the definition of Parmenion’s platform development strategy. They will work with the wider product team to ensure delivery of innovative products to enhance and improve Parmenion’s market position. The role holder will operate as the key interface between Marketing Communications, Sales (customers & clients) and Parmenion’s change and engineering team. The overriding purpose of the role is to; Lead the definition and development of Parmenion’s platform proposition, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of advisers and their clients, and that the expected commercial and customer outcomes are delivered. Increase awareness and understanding of Parmenion’s platform vision and proposition, both internally and externally, clearly articulating its purpose and customer benefits, which ultimately leads to an increase in adoption. Work with marcomms to ensure that take to market activities about our platform developments remain relevant and effective across the entire audience, gaining cut through & impact. Ensure good internal awareness of industry developments and the activities of key competitors, being clear on Parmenion’s market position and competitive advantage. Duties include: Defining and delivering the growth and development strategy for Parmenion’s platform proposition. Acting as the subject matter expert on platform services and the use of digital and data in our market, including Parmenion’s platform strategy and proposition. Understanding the market, competitor position and emerging opportunities and threats in adviser use and adoption of platforms – including identifying and quantifying emerging customer needs. Ensure customer needs are central to all platform developments, with consideration of target market definition and alignment, impacts on vulnerable customers and where appropriate, adaptations to our service and delivery development. Identifying new and innovative ideas to develop and enhance our platform proposition, undertaking the commercial modelling required, working with our Customer, Commercial and Finance Leadership Teams as required. Building a network with key industry influencers to improve Parmenion’s market profile and adviser consideration. Representing Parmenion on key industry forums to drive change and innovation. Working closely with the Parmenion’s Sales Team to ensure that both they and their adviser customers have the necessary skills, support/training, and materials needed to promote Parmenion’s new platform developments. Continuous improvement of the product development function, enabling Parmenion to be product and customer led. Management of our Product Development Framework, ensuring all developments are in line with our governance policies and procedures. Requirements for the role (Industry/technical knowledge, qualifications, and experience) Significant wealth management experience, with in-depth knowledge of retail wealth financial services products (e.g., ISAs, pensions & other tax wrappers) and a deep understanding of adviser business practices and their advice processes Proven experience delivering innovative digital-first wealth management solutions Demonstrated ability to execute, delivering on strategic goals Deep understanding of good data practice and how it can transform business and customer outcomes Excellent verbal communicator, able to present to large and small audiences Proven commercial operator, able to establish productive relationships both within and outside an organisation A good understanding of the UK investment and savings environment & wider UK regulatory environment Personal attributes Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Creative, pragmatic and hands on Patient, diligent and diplomatic Pro-active, resourceful, able to use initiative Able to take responsibility and make decisions Resilient, tenacious, optimistic & adaptable to change A positive enabler with a positive attitude and an ability to drive change A strong individual with high integrity, willing to challenge at all levels in the organisation High conviction in ensuring that the purpose of the role is fully met.
