Head of Physical Education (Female)

We are looking for a qualified and experienced teacher of PE to lead our vibrant department from September 2026. The role requires a passion for PE and Sport, ability to teach across the age and ability range including A Level, and evidence of successful teaching strategies and excellent organisational skills. The successful candidate will be keen to develop their career within a supportive school where professional development is an essential aspect of our daily practice.
Our preferred gender for applicants is female, as permitted under the Equality Act 2010 to ensure appropriate supervision of female students.
Responsibilities
* Leading the PE department and collaborating with other teachers.
* Teaching PE and Sport at GCSE and A Level.
* Researching, developing and examining PE curriculum.
* Motivating students and supporting inclusive practice.
* Contributing to a strong induction programme and professional development.
