Rota: Full rota cover (including on-calls, nights, and weekends)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience)
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Locum Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join their dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled consultant to contribute to a busy, high-performing department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive care in both obstetrics and gynaecology
* Participate in the full rota including daytime, night shifts, and weekend on-calls
* Support junior staff and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Ensure the delivery of safe and effective care for patients across antenatal, labour, and gynaecological services
Requirements:
* GMC registration with a licence to practise
* CCT or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
* Relevant NHS experience at Consultant level
* Ability to cover a full rota, including out-of-hours commitments
