Job Description
Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across Level 1–3 Plumbing & Domestic Heating programmes, supporting student progression into employment or further study. Work closely with curriculum, pastoral and student support teams to create a positive learning environment, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver well‑planned, engaging, high‑quality teaching and assessment across Plumbing & Domestic Heating programmes.
* Develop and deliver sequenced schemes of work and lesson plans that support sustained learner progress.
* Assess, mark and provide clear, constructive feedback in line with awarding body and College standards.
* Use initial and ongoing assessment to plan effectively and meet individual learner needs.
* Maintain accurate records, including registers, mark books and progress tracking systems.
* Contribute to quality assurance processes, including course reviews and self‑assessment.
* Use digital technologies and the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to enhance learning.
* Promote positive behaviour, attendance and punctuality, working with support services where required.
* Engage with employers and external partners to enrich curriculum delivery and student experience.
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Plumbing and Domestic Heating.
* Strong industry experience and up‑to‑date knowledge of sector developments.
* Ability to deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
