A fantastic primary school in Wokingham are looking for a passionate and positive Teaching Assistant to join their staff starting as soon as possible.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to undergo Teacher Training upon completion of a successful academic year.
This is exactly the type of role to help you gain experience and add to your skills before undertaking teacher training. This experience will be sure to help you stand out!
The role:
In your role as a Teaching Assistant, you will learn all the necessary qualities to make a great Teacher. You will be supported daily by the class teacher and have the advantage on working under someone who will guide you on your journey to becoming a Teacher.
You will support the classroom, by helping manage behaviour, set up for lessons, tidy up after lessons and assist with various activities such as outdoor learning and PE. You will also learn the best way to support students who need a little extra support in their class work, in either small groups or in 1 to 1 settings.
The Successful Teaching Assistant:
To be considered for this role you will need to have a passion for education, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. You should also be resilient, confident and proactive.
