The Commercial Acceptance Partnership Program (CAPP) is a flagship Mastercard initiative designed to unlock the full potential of B2B card payments by partnering with the world’s leading acquirers. The Vice President for CAPP will lead this high-profile global program and play a pivotal role in Mastercard’s ambition to accelerate B2B acceptance worldwide.

Responsibilities and opportunities for this role include shaping strategy, building executive relationships, and driving program execution across acquirers and Mastercard product teams.
Responsibilities
* Shape strategy and set the standard for how acquirers engage in commercial acceptance.
* Build and deepen relationships with C-suite and board-level leaders at the world’s top acquirers, collaborating across their organizations to activate and operationalize plans.
* Develop and champion the CAPP playbook to optimize go-to-market strategies, sales operations, and technology platforms for B2B success.
* Identify and incubate innovative solutions from acquirer partnerships and channel them into Mastercard’s product teams to fuel the roadmap.
* Serve as a senior advisor and thought leader, influencing ecosystem-wide adoption of commercial payments.
* Partner closely with the SVP of Acceptance (Commercial), supporting global strategy and alignment across Mastercard leadership.
About You
You are a senior leader with:
* Deep expertise in payments acceptance and a strong understanding of acquiring economics, operations, and B2B go-to-market strategies.
* Proven ability to influence at C-suite and board level, and the skills to engage across sales, product, and operational teams to deliver results end-to-end.
* Existing senior-level relationships in the acquiring community (highly desirable).
* A track record of designing and executing structured partner programs that move from strategy to action.
* Experience incubating and shaping solutions from insights into successful products or initiatives.
* Strong commercial acumen, able to develop compelling business cases and align global stakeholders.
* Inspirational leadership skills and the ability to build and empower high-performing teams.
