Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Liverpool for an Optical Assistant. The Optical Assistant will assist patients with frame and lens selection, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and provide general support within the practice. Daily tasks will include helping customers, managing appointments, handling administrative duties, and working alongside optometrists to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction
* Effective communication skills and the ability to clearly engage with a diverse range of patients
* Basic knowledge of optometry or experience in a similar optical or healthcare setting
* Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* A team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues
* Experience with sales, particularly in a retail or optical environment, is advantageous
* Prior knowledge of eyewear products, including lenses and frame styles, is a plus
