The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to lead all operational functions across warehousing, distribution, fleet, and compliance. Reporting to the Directors, you will manage a team of 77 and play a key role in embedding operational efficiencies, developing leadership capability, and supporting strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team across warehousing, distribution, fleet, and night operations
* Drive operational excellence through robust KPIs and continuous improvement
* Champion Health & Safety and ensure full compliance across all operations
* Build a high performing, motivated team culture
* Embed best practices across all operational processes
* Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align operations with strategic goals
* Support the integration of Power BI dashboards and data led decision making
* Conduct a full operational team review and restructure where necessary
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for an experienced operational leader who brings:
* Proven success in leading multi functional teams in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing
* A track record of building high performing teams and driving performance through KPIs
* Strong mentoring and coaching skills with a naturally engaging leadership style
* Confidence in leading through change and challenging the status quo
* Proficiency in using data and dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to inform decisions
* Commercial awareness and the ability to align operations with business goals
* A commitment to compliance, safety, and operational excellence
* The ability to engage both long-tenured and newly hired staff
