GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in primary schools in Sheffield.
Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our primary schools in Sheffield starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the classroom and support the academic and personal development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and delivery.
* Lead small group interventions and support sessions.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
* Support the teacher with assessment and record-keeping.
* Foster positive social interactions and model appropriate behaviour.
* Work with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans for students who require additional support.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience or qualifications as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
