Job Description Liaise with the Health and Safety Business Unit in relation to “Safe Systems of Work”, current legislation pertaining to Health and Safety and the requirements of the company Health and Safety Policy Ensure compliance with all Freightliner rules and regulations To accurately follow the Shunter trainer responsibilities and duties for train arrivals and departures guidelines Adhere to all accident and incident reporting procedures Working with your team to work safely and efficiently in order to maintain carriage processes within the correct timeframe Liaising with the Intermodal Control Team and Transport Operations office to establish future requirements Promptly report defects found within the company’s Health and Safety Policy or methods of work relating to Freightliners rules and regulations Report any defect or hazard as soon as any is noted on company premises Participate in forums, seminars and training as may be requested by Supervisor(s)/Managers to secure knowledge and understanding of the role or facts of the role Follow all reasonable requests from Supervisor(s)/Managers To carry out other duties as request by Supervisor(s)/Managers
