Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of our club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing staff, and ensuring that all children have an exceptional experience at Groots Childcare Hub. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for educating others, and the ability to foster a vibrant community and atmosphere within a club that provides a variety of activities. You will be based at one of our Groots Childcare Hubs that have fantastic facilities, outdoor space, woodland areas and designated areas for children to learn, play and engage in a variety of activities. You will lead the team on site, and be the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) supported by other staff to deliver exceptional wrap around provision. Hours will range from 15-20 hours Monday to Friday 7:30am-9am and 3pm-6pm. During school holidays you would help run one of our fantastic holiday club provision.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of club operations, including staff management, member services, and facility maintenance.
* Develop and implement programmes and activities that engage the children attending and promote participation and attendance.
* Educate staff on best practices in customer service and operational procedures to ensure high standards are maintained.
* Foster a positive atmosphere by building relationships with children attending and addressing their needs promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and the children attending.
Qualifications
* Childcare experience or relevant qualifications.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate your team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on member engagement.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings as required by club activities.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
