Job Introduction
The BBC Apprenticeships Team seeks a Scheme Specialist to manage outreach and pre-employment activities. The role focuses on designing and delivering outreach initiatives to attract diverse, entry-level talent, especially from underrepresented communities, and managing the 'Get In' work taster programme.
Main Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver outreach events across digital and in-person platforms, including webinars and campaigns.
2. Develop a comprehensive early careers outreach programme aligned with BBC’s diversity goals.
3. Coordinate the 'Get In' programme.
4. Engage with grassroots organizations and establish partnerships to enhance the BBC’s reputation as an employer of choice.
5. Maintain and build stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
6. Represent the BBC at outreach events.
7. Evaluate outreach strategies using data to inform future activities.
8. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to track and improve attraction efforts.
9. Manage budgets effectively.
Candidate Profile

Essential qualities include understanding challenges faced by young and underrepresented groups, excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement, data management, and project leadership experience.
