Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a business based in Oldbury on a temporary 2-3 month basis. This role offers great exposure in a growing business, working closely with the Finance Manager you will gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to further your career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly bank reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* The preparation of VAT returns
* Processing and understanding of completion statements.
* Partake in monthly business reviews, communicating with senior leadership team.
* Assist the accounts assistant with processing of invoices.
* Assist with the year-end account’s preparation.
* Any other Ad hoc requirements.
Essential requirements:
* Sage experience
* Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP'S)
* Two years previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills
