Position Overview:
Reporting to the Shift Lead, the Process Owner will supervise the operation of one or more manufacturing lines for the production of wound care intermediates. The Process Owner will be expected to operate the process during the shift as well as carry out Process Owner duties. The Process Owner will be subject matter expert on the operation of the manufacturing lines within their remit and will deputise for the Shift Lead in their absence, including full Incident Control duties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing leadership in EHS through regular discussions with safety teams, risk assessments and workplace inspections.
2. Ownership and review of risk assessments within area of ownership.
3. Acts as incident Controller in the event of an emergency in the Shift Lead’s absence.
4. Issues and receives hand back of Permits to Work for maintenance, engineering, and contractor activity within area of ownership.
5. Compliance with EHS requirements and uphold these standards.
6. Provide leadership in Quality through regular discussions with Quality team and non-conformance board.
7. Carries out Event management for non-conformances within their area.
8. Review and approval of batch documentation (Including labels as required).
9. Compliance with GMP requirements and uphold these standards.
10. Compliance and ownership of operating procedures for area of ownership.
11. Expertise in operating the equipment within area of ownership.
12. Overseeing the training and development of process operators.
13. Deals with specific people issues as they arise and communicates with Shift Lead to ensure that they are dealt with in the correct way.
14. Performance monitoring and intermediate fault finding/investigations of processes.
15. Seek and deliver CI opportunities in area of ownership.
16. Operational checks of ancillary equipment.
17. Conducts inductions where required and visitor tours.
18. Co-ordinates CI activities, MIB, Kaizen and 5S.
19. Implement Improvements following CI activities.
20. Maintain CI standards.
Skills & Experience:
21. High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
22. Results oriented.
23. Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex problems, incorporating data gathered from a variety of sources.
24. Strong oral and written communications skills.
25. Experience of Quality systems and Documentum.
26. Must be proficient ith PC programs Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) SAP.
Qualifications/Education:
27. A-Level qualifications or equivalent.
28. Demonstrates thorough understanding and application of company procedures, EHS and GMP requirements.
29. Demonstrates competency and flexibility in all production processes within the unit.
30. Demonstrates understanding of teamwork and its consistent application within the unit.

Travel Requirements
31. Occasional travel may be required.
Working Conditions
32. Based full time on site at Rhymney.
33. There is a requirement to be clean shaven so that fit testing for the wearing of masks can be completed.
34. The wearing of full-face hoods is mandatory in designated areas.
