We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Extra Care Registered Manager to lead a brand-new, purpose-built Extra Care scheme in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven leader to establish and embed high-quality care standards within a flagship development designed around dignity, independence, and community living.

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

Lead the day-to-day operational management of a large Extra Care scheme
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent quality standards
Oversee care delivery for residents with a range of assessed needs including older people, dementia, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities
Manage and develop a large on-site care team, ensuring safe staffing levels and effective rota management
Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, commissioning teams, housing partners, and external stakeholders
Drive occupancy levels and support smooth referral and assessment processes
Monitor KPIs, quality audits, care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
Embed person-centred care practices that promote independence and community integration
Support the management of short-term and step-down placements within the scheme
Lead recruitment, supervision, appraisals, disciplinary processes, and team development
Manage budgets and contribute to the overall commercial performance of the service
Prepare for and lead CQC inspections, ensuring the service is inspection-ready at all timesRequired Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Registered Manager within Extra Care, Supported Living, or Residential Care (minimum 3 years in a management capacity)
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or commitment to complete)
