Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Technical Services division. This is a permanent, full-time position predominantly based at a high-profile client site in Portsmouth, with additional regional support required as necessary.

Location: Portsmouth (Static site with regional support)
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (Standard hours)
Salary Range: £37,000 - £44,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Role Responsibilities
As a Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer, your core duties will include:
Planned Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with contractual obligations and statutory regulations.
Reactive Repairs: Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance tasks and system breakdowns.
Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose faults and complete comprehensive repairs across a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all works are completed in strict accordance with health & safety regulations and standard company operating procedures.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including service reports and asset updates.
Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise professionally with site management to minimize operational disruption during maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
Technical Qualification: A recognized Air Conditioning / HVAC qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
Certification: Valid F-Gas certification (essential).
Experience: Proven experience delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment.
Compliance Knowledge: A solid understanding of health & safety compliance requirements.
Licence: A full UK driving licence.
