The postholder will support a healthy and safe working environment through the provision of expert advice and guidance on all aspects of fire safety and, as appropriate, generalist health and safety through the development and delivery of the Universitys HSW Management System. - ABOUT YOU - The postholder will be required to have: - A degree or other equivalent professional qualification and eligibility for membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) or other relevant external professional body by examination and experience. - Significant experience in a fire safety role within a large, complex organisation. This must include direct personal involvement as a specialist advisor in relation to fire safety. - Significant experience in a role which involves aligning a focus on fire safety to support the business priorities of clients.
