We are seeking dedicated and passionate Band 5 Registered Nurses/Practitioners to join our Pre-Operative Assessment Team at Maidstone Hospital.
Do you possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy working as part of a team? Are you experienced in liaising with multidisciplinary teams and passionate about improving surgical pathways? If so, this role may be ideal for you.
Pre-assessment Practitioners are vital in delivering safe and efficient pre-operative care by preparing patients for surgery. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs and Anaesthetists, to assess and prepare patients and their families for surgical procedures.
The clinic has recently adopted a state-of-the-art digital preoperative assessment programme aimed at providing the highest standard of surgical care.
Your role will involve assessing patients across specialties such as ENT, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Breast, and other surgical procedures.

Successful applicants will complete a corporate trust induction, followed by a two-week Trust induction programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs, and Paramedics, involving travel to both sites. The programme includes clinical shifts, classroom sessions, and e-learning.
