About the Role
* Teaching a Key Stage 1 class, delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Planning, preparing, and assessing engaging and creative lessons
* Supporting pupils’ development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
* Upholding safeguarding and behaviour management policies
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential)
* Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Shows a genuine passion for supporting young learners
* Understands safeguarding responsibilities and promotes pupil wellbeing
